'You very shy and I've never been that patient with any girl brfore. I dont want to have a female friend, I have my guys'

What am I supposed to do to make him feel we're not just friends, that we're more than that?

Guys are pretty straight forward, he would probably tell you what he meant if you just asked him, "What do you mean by that?" When he says patient, he could be talking about two different things: either he is saying he wants you to open up a little more and tell him how you are feeling or he is saying he has never waited this long for sex. You should know by the type of guy he is and in what context he said it. To make him feel that you like him (or want to be in a relationship with him), well I would say be honest... tell him how you are feeling. Little assurances make guys feel better about where they stand in a relationship. He just wants to know that you care. Its bad when you feel like someone who doesnt like you as much as you like them. If this is your first relationship, dont sweat it... you'll get the hang of what to say to make him feel good. Goodluck!

I think he means that he doesn't think you two would work because you are shy and he feels more compatible with someone that is not shy. I know you like him, but do you really want to compromise who you are just to be with him. If you really are shy, then you just are and there is nothing wrong with that. Don't try to be different just to snag him because then in the long run it won't work out anyways because you aren't together based on what is real.

Apparently, this guy seems to be.. well, assertive. What he looks for is someone that will love him as much as he loves himself. Not that I'm saying this is a bad thing, alot of guys feel better about themselves when a girl loves them. But its just how you show how you feel about him that matters. Being shy is definately a hard thing to get past, but if you try and be more assertive, it won't be as hard.

Talk to him and tell him how you feel. He probably feels that you're stuck at a point and you're not interested in going any further. Tell him quickly or risk losing him.

It means he wants to hv sex. Don't feel pressured to do so. Sex doesn't prove love. It wont keep him by ur side either.

Sounds like he's a jerk, don't buy into it, find someone as good as you are.
