They are trying to stop wholesale marriages for foreigner just to get into the country. Better know as the Marriage mill. They are starting to act on the many problems of illegal immigration.

the law about foreignors marrying americans already made it harder for people who wanted to get a quckie marriage and divorce by setting minimum marriage length requirements. And please, before you even ask questions like this, think about the logical probability of our government putting a law out like that?

there's no such law. that's violation of a fundamental human right. why should americans be banned from marrying whomever they wish to marry?
