There is no universal "right or wrong" time to move into a more intimate relationship. I would say that it depends on your personal idea of what sex means, whether you trust him, the feelings you have for each other and whether or not you think that adding sex to the relationship would change it significantly.
You didn't say how old you are. I'm going to guess you're a teen if you're depending on your friends to help you decide what to do in your own relationship. If you are a teen, keep in mind that this is not the last relationship you're going to have. So be very careful about disease and getting preggers. Also, if he's young, he might be totally overblown by his physical needs (and you might be too), and this could be a "hormone-induced" relationship. Which isn't inherently bad or good, but it's worth contemplating what that means to you.
Good luck!

I'm presuming that you are over eighty? If so that 6 weeks is fine although I'd suggest some library research prior or at least watch an evening of the Bravo channel, either way get your parents permission first. Hopefully your boyfriend will be in his twenties and have the energy to take the lead, if he's a tad older stock up on some viagra or possibly blue smarties.

Depends on your age. If you're under 21 - leave it until you are about 21 before you go anywhere near that bedroom!
Over 21 - 6 weeks is TOOOOO long to wait for sex - what are you an adolescent?!

It's definitely up to the both of you!
If it feels right go for it. He sure won't complain. But when I had sex with anybody it sure wiasn't a one night stand.
If you feel this is going to be a long term relationship, then go for it. I do think that it won't lead to marriage. Isn't that want you want? If not now you will.
Have fun but be careful.

Its nothing to do with your friends, if you think enough of each other then it shouldnt matter whethr its 6 minutes in2 the relationship or 6 years...it should be when your both ready to do it!
If they were proper friends then they wouldnt pressure you either way!
Good luck! xx

I reckon ignore your friends & only sleep with him if YOU feel it is the right time & that you want to. Going by what other people say will only make you regret your choice later.
If your bf is a nice guy & he feels it's the right time too then he shouldn't think you are a ****.

I think it's pretty depressing that people sleep with each other after dating for a month or two.
It's bad enough no one waits for marriage anymore, much less until they actually get to know the person.

The time is right if you feel like you want it, he wants it - THEN DO IT!! Six weeks is a long time for a guy to date you without sex, so he is surely worth his salt (for now). Who cares what other people think?

6 weeks too soon?
I can't believe you've waited more than 3 or 4 weeks in the first place.

Have you rebuffed your boyfriends advances?. You have been in a relationship now for six weeks. I would imagine you know your boyfriend well enough, to contemplate making love. I would suggest that at the next opportune time you go for it. Why wait.
