Not to be picky, but when you write this assignment, please use "effect" instead of the incorrect "affect."

One good effect: Food is cooked faster, so it's more convenient;
One bad effect: People tend to buy processed food (such as Hot Pockets) more now rather than fresh stuff.

the main effect of using a microwave is that the food is cooked faster. Thus a saving of energy.
a bad effect is that things like Pastry can soon be overcooked and therefore is hard and useless.

Well good effect, would be the time saved,
A bad effect would the seperation of water from the food in some cases.

One of the good effects is that you can put a dried piece of bread and a cup of water in for a few seconds, and the bread will become moist and good again.

On of the bad effects is that you can put a slice of pizza in and it will become soggy.

Oh wait, that is the same effect!. Hmmm.
