I would be going out of the country for about a month and need someone to take care of my cat during that period.

Look in the yellow pages for pet sitter or cat sitter. I have hired pet sitters in the past and it costs about $100 a week for an insured professional. Otherwise, you might try getting a friend or relative to do it for less.

That is something my son is wanting to start doing for all animals. There are pet resorts but you may also look in the grocery store when you first walk in where people put up adds for different thing or you can post a flyer there. Check out your local pet resorts though. They are not that expensive our animals have stayed there.

ask a neighbor, family, or a friend.. if non are close by then you can see if there's any pet sitting places near your area

get one of those feeders that you fill up and it dispences by itself same with the water change the litter box say bye and look the door cats are independant and probably wont even notice your gone

ask your neighbors, if they are kids you dont have to pay them as much... or have a friend come over to do it!

Theree are shelters you can bring him/her to. it cost money though. just google it.
