I have red bumps all over portions of my body... mainly my arms and legs... When I was younger doctors told me it was exzema... I have been unable to rid of this.. I'm thinking this could be a severe case. Does anyone have any solutions?

I have eczema. There are good creams that can make it go away, temporarily, but they are expensive and they are steroid-based, so the doctor won't let you use them constantly. My doctor prescribed a heavy-duty steroid cream to use first, followed by a milder one. The heavy duty one worked great, the milder one barely worked at all. The doctor was willing to give me more of the mild cream, but not the strong one. This is something that, once you have it, you will have it for the rest of your life. You will never get rid of it forever. Only temporarily when you get bad outbreaks bad enough for the doctor to prescribe something for it. There is nothing OTC that works. Don't use oils on your skin. Don't take long, hot showers or baths, but keep your skin clean. No baths and take the shortest, coolest shower you can stand. Moisturize heavily with non-oil based lotions and don't scratch! Even if these red bumps are broken open unintentionally, the infection spreads, so be careful of those bumps to try not to break them open.

Go to a dermatologist and he can give you perscription cream. Or just go to the drug store and ask behind the pharmacy counter what type of cream they would recommend for exzema. Also, put cream on every night before you go to bed.
