I have had a friend with benefits for 6 years we are now getting married next year. I believe it only works if the friendship is based on mutual trust, not losing yourself in the relationship and that the benefits are just benefits. My relationship with my friend has a strong base that doesn't include the benefits

Friends with benefits is a bad idea in the first place you should always get to know someone before you have sex with them!! It could leave to more, but it might not.

usually a friends with benifits thing never really turns into something more, and if anything the girl gets attached! im surprised that he was calling you saying that he was thinking of you maybe hes thinking of you as being more then just a friend with beiinifits.

ok. here's something you should know. guys want sex. and how do guys get sex? they date ppl. get a gf.
but when they're a FWB then they've already achieved the goal of sex. so no, i don't think he'll want a deeper relationship.

Sometimes they do but most of the time they move on to someone else.

I don't think so. It depends on if the "friend" is seeing someone else. and your the "benifet" Then there will never be trust there.
