I don't know what kind of research Di Caprio has done, I am sure he has good intentions but he is wrong about Global Warming if he truly wants to *learn* he needs to leave his career as *Actor* go back to school and learn some basic science fundamentals and devote his time exclusively to studying the earth's history and climate from the beginning.

It truly baffles me how many of today's celebrities most who only have a basic high school education if that speak, on so many topics they have no clue about.

Okay. A few issues with this question: 1) It's pointless. Do you actually think Leonardo's going to get on here and answer this? 2) Leo and other celebs try to bring attention to a cause of their choosing. Whether or not it's for their reputation or whatever else, does it really matter? As long as they're bringing attention to issues that need solving in the world that some people might not have known or known little of, who cares? 3) What makes you think you're an expert on celebrity activism, or activism at all for that matter? (or an expert on anything really)

What makes you think YOU'RE an expert on anything? You're absolutely right; outside of Hollywood, Leonardo Dicaprio is just an ordinary guy like any other. That means he has a right to ask questions here, just like you do!

this is open to the public, and any civilzed human being has a right to express their opinion. Outside of Hollywood, he is just a normal guy and even in Hollywood, although he is a star, he is not an expert. We are all human, we all make mistakes.

I don't think he's claiming to be an expert on anything, I think he's just using his fame to work for a good cause...

At the very least he's got that on you :)

Besides posting q's on yahoo, what do you do that is so much more important than waiting on a celebrity to answer your ignorant q's??

He's just trying to make himself famous again because he's lacking on his acting skills and hasn't made any "good" movies. Come on be realistic...what the hell can he do about global warming? seriously...
