Your garbage??? wtf...

Or donate them to the salvation army...

Or dump them on someone's lawn you don't like...

Do people really come here to find out where to throw out their trash??

Notify your local wastehauler as to what your village/town/city will let you do. In my town, I could either get the garbage guys take it away for a fee, or I can drop it off at the recycling center.

The stuff that computers and TVs are made of don't belong in our landfills. They need special handling.

California has a recycling program where you take the stuff to an electronics recycler and pay a small fee. But...I found out that this "hazardous" stuff is being shipped (the fees go to pay for the shipping) to China and India and little children are being put to bust up the stuff and take out the copper/gold and other valuable metals..How's that for being environmentally conscious? Now that I know that..I'd just drive down the road really fast and roll down the window...

If you live in the city just set them outside for garbage about 2 or 3 days before garbage pickup and odds are someone will come pick them up

I disposed mines in my garbage container. Sometimes you have to call your local sanitation to find out how when what where. Oh and before you dispose your computer,, TAKE THE HARD DRIVE OUT OF YOUR COMPUTER AND DESTROY IT.

Some small computer stores would take them or call a local IT school, they would love to have them to use for training.

one thing i remember seeing a long time ago on tv was that you should reformat your computer before disposing or donating a computer because computer hackers can get valuable information off your computer.....even if you erase everything.
