Winter is time when the weather is really cold, so you want someone to hold you to keep you warm.
You'll also notice tis the season that everyone will show more loving therefore you'll end up feeling lonely when you're single.

Vitamin D deficiency, because you're not in the sun as much in the winter, you don't get the Vitamin D from the sun. There's actually a name for it - Seasonal Affective Disorder - or SAD.
Try going tanning for a few minutes a week - hopefully not enough to get skin cancer.
Also - tanning will make you feel better about yourself and your body image - giving you the confidence you need to snag a cute guy!

Is it winter or is the that it is so close to christmas.....
I guess winter is cold which means you stay in more and don't get out as much.... This make people lonely and depressed I guess...

The lack of sunshine makes people miserable .I can't complain about the weather here in NY though! It's like October here!

its cuz its cold outside so u want 2 snuggle up w/ someone.also its close 2 christmas and u want 2 share it with someone special

Because it is cold outside and you are cooped in the house and have time alone with your thoughts. If you had someone with you to cuddle with and converse with it would keep those melancholy thoughts at bay.
