I am totally afraid of the devil! I know it sounds like I'm a crazy religious fanatic, but I'm really not. When I was little, I had a recurring nightmare about the devil. He was a huge cement monster who would walk up my street with a cement wheelbarrow (sp?) and peel back the roofs and pluck people from their homes. Now as an adult, I'm totally freaked out by movies and tv shows about the devil. I must have had some freaky former life experience that has stuck with me.

I'm afraid of the reply a boy says when I ask him out. I feel bad when they say no and I feel depressed for like 2 days. So, it's a bad feeling.

Loud voices! I'm afraid someone is angry and I may get hit. It's a startle response.I've been psychically abused before and even to this day I get scared when I hear a man shouting or talking loud, and I divorced that abusive husband in 1981.

Driving up steep hills. I always worry the brakes will give out. Especially as the car goes slower and slower.

water, boats, fish...i havent beenon a boat since i was like 6 and i cant go to the aquarium without having a panic attack.

I am always afraid when I flush the toilet, it will overflow! It sounds crazy, but I always flip out!

Spiders...especially the big ol' nasty wolf spiders. I live in WA and this time of year there are spiders EVERYWHERE!!!! I find them in the linen closet, the shower, my bath towel when stepping out of the shower, my baby's clothes, my kitchen cabinets.....EVERYWHERE!!!
