do you know what it was? just keep an eye on it if it starts to swell up but some ice on it and rub a aspirin over it.

Use "meat tenderizer", or papin, or fresh papaya, on the wound.

Meat Tenderizer mixed with a little water, and put right on the wound will reduce or eliminate the sting. The papin enzyme eats away at the poison.

To get the stinger out, use the side of a knife and press down on the skin next to the stinger. Wiggle the knife and try to push the stinger out from next to and underneath.

Scrape the stinger off in the direction of the sting. DO NOT USE TWEEZERS OR YOU WILL INJECT MORE VENOM INTO YOUR SELF. wash wound and apply ice if you feel pain or swelling occurs.
