Green is the color green since it is the only color it does not recieve. red orange yellow Green blue indigo and violet are the only primary colors all other colors come from these. so the color green recieves through the light spectrum all colors but green thats what makes it green.

Most likely, it's green because the colors yellow and blue collided to produce the color you see. Maybe it's chlorophyll. Of course, it could be greener because it's on the other side. You know what they say about grass...

Has to do with chlorophyll and photosynthesis.
However, if it is growing on the food throw it out and if you are referring to anything coming from your body it is an infection and needs to be treated.
