I've noticed with a few part irish men the hair can be dark brown and not a speck of red will show but in the beard you can see red tint. I have the red tint in my hair but my arm hairs are more blonde.
I guess it's just different parts of the body are affected by different heritage you have in your blood.

Don't have a scientific answer, but I am the same - I thought it was cos my mum was a ginger!
If it's a problem, you can always use Just For Men Beard Gel or something similar, I used to use it in my vain youth and it's good stuff!

As for the why, it purely relies upon on a guy's inherited DNA. No thanks to foretell except reckoning on the hair coloration of the father and mom's brother's beards. a good type of fellows have a mixture of colorings of their beard. the colors will replace, finally going to gray.

heyy! my beard hair has always been lighter than my hair.. I dont think there's a problem about that. If it's natural, it's probably not ugly! If you still feel self concious you should dye your hair the same exact color as your beard..

That is the natural color of your beard. I had the same thing, but don't worry it gets better with age. When both your head and beard turn gray.
