Portable Speakers?

I'm going to buy my husband a Pioneer Inno for Christmas. He drives a van for work that doesn't have a radio or speakers in it. What I'm wondering is which portable speakers put out the best sound, and can plug into the headphone jack?

He can't wear headphones while he drives.

if you want a "Good" set of speakers i would go for a 2.1 or if you want a REALLY good sound system for his van go for a 6.1, but make sure if you get the power inverter make sure it can handle the speakers... espcially a 6.1 surrond sound system

Almost all speakers whether it be just a regular set of speakers or a 6.1 surrond system they should be able to connect through a headphone port but you may need to buy a composite sound to head phone jack converter for the more expensive ones

or if you dont want to get him a power inverter you could just get him a set of speakers that are battery operate like these:
