Because most of the people who DO drive act like 12 year olds. We don't need more of them driving.

I believe 12 yr. olds can't drive because people feel that they are not responsible enough to drive. Another reason is that people feel they are too short and don't have the reaction time to react quick enough when you go spinning out of control. Maybe one day they will be allowed to drive. 12 year olds cant drive because some 12 year olds is not even tall enough to see over the dashboard or reach the pedals.Then, they cant drive because some 12 year olds are not all the way there to make smart decisions while driving.

the most obvious reason why no 12 year olds can drive is because most of them are not even tall enough to comfortably reach the pedals, especially boys. but the most important reason for this is because at that age, none of them are mature enough to drive and abide the road rules and law. some 12 year olds can hardly even learn to safely cross the road on their own, what more if they drive?

Are you kidding? they are trying to put 12-year-olds in booster seats here in Calif.
but really, most 12-year-olds are not physically large enough or mentally developed enough to be responsible for a 4000lb vehicle. think about some of the kids you know, especially the boys...do you really think they are ready?

Because 12 year olds are mentally immature and their physical stature prevents them from being able to reach the pedals, and also not able to make quick decisions in case of emergency...

my dad let me drive at 12. you just have to be good and not get caught and live out in the country a long long way.

cause ur inexpeirenced and u would die. I let a 12yr old drive my car in a parking lot and thought i was going to die. Can you even see over the steering wheel.
