Can I mail a store packaged plum pudding to my relatives in the USA?

I live in Canada and want to mail a store bought plum pudding to my relatives in Virginia. Are there any restrictions at US Customs to sending the plum pudding by mail?

You would have to check with your post office and they could tell you if there was any restriction in doing so.

As I know is not allowed.
