Funny... why does it never stand up to any direct experimental testing?
The standard ESP test -- 25 cards, 5 cards each of 5 symbols. Almost everyone's familiar with it. 5 out of 25 guesses, on average, will be correct, from random chance. You need to get at least 10 right consistently for statistical significance. I saw a guy get put into a hypnotic state and got 25 out of 25 right -- VERY Significant.
However... he could never duplicate the effect, in over fifty more trials, not again reaching a signficant level.
Which is more likely to be true? The single 25/25 was a glitch, or the 50+ where he failed to even reach significance?

As for the psychic bit ... i prefer the energies on this side. :-)
And come to think of it ... sure i have heard stories of police forces using psychics to locate bodies ...

Don't worry about other peoples opinions,you shouldn't care what
they think.whats important is what you think and the only opinion
that matters is that of someone you respect.For what its worth
I know for a fact that psychics do exist.there are also people
who can perform witchcraft.however you should talk to an
expert about these things that you see and find a way to live

There are a lot of things beyond the average brain to grasp.
Not many want to apply it either. I understand the frustration you feel. People have even died for their beliefs.
Ignore those who do not understand it. The less tangible something is the harder it is to understand and so easier to get confused about.

In time, all people with ABILITIES learn to keep it to themselves because of what you have just described. You cant expect a skeptical community to give you any props. You need to seek like minded people and not present yourself in forums where seemingly at any time you can be met with the walls that people put up in front of themselves.
