Okay so my mom is 52 and my dad is 60 and I just found out they started dating when my mom was 19 and my dad was 27! HOW GROSS IS THAT
im like seriously scarred for life now. he never seemed like a gross sex ofeender but now im afraid i cant ever look at my dad the same way again :(

I dunno it just grosses me out. I never realized they started dating wen my mom was 19. and like...yeah they're in love and they've been married for about 30 years but come on!

Get a cop of the song by The Three Degrees called Dirty Old Man and play that for your parents and then kiss and make up. Most couples have a five or six year age difference when the marriage actually works, and so 8 years is not much and your mom was over 18.

Are u out of your mind, she was 19, not 15 not 17. My dad's 8 years older than my mom too, it doesn't matter.

Thats not a pedifile. She was legal (over 18) and the age difference is the same today as it is now. If he respected her and loved her and still does, there is nothing wrong with it. Maybe it would help to talk to ur parents about it?

what should it matter to you when they were young it wasnt a bad thing to get together with people older than you they loved eachoter and your here you should be happy that they loved eachother enough to stay together all this time unlike most people these days you might be the only one with a problm so dont worry about it there age has nothing to do with you anyway
