It is already clear to you that it would upset your friend if it is his ex... regardless if he says it is OK or not would just not be good judgment on your part. Wouldn't you think your friends' current or ex's be considered "off limits"? Wouldn't you think it would put a strain on your friendship? How about the thought of his ex comparing you to your friend to her friends? *sigh* There are just too many messed up and uncomfortable factors I can tell you about..but why, if you still don't get it by now!

Well hey if you say you already talk to him about you going out with his ex , I would say go for it. But if you feel uncomfortable dating his ex you have a problem. First of all are you going out with the girl because you truly feel something for her or just because of a physical attraction. If its just a physical attraction and you feel uncomfortable going out with her because of your friend then it is not really worth the risk of loosing one of your friends. Think about it dude and then make your decision.
