Why are there still people out there who think there aren't scams, especially on the internet?
People are, to put it bluntly, stupid.

Free Lotto is a credit card scam from a criminal organization called PlasmaNet that works out of a P.O. box in Grand Central Station. I have posted the name and address of the crook that is behind it. The emails he sends look very official and those that gamble are always looking for the quick buck. I have traced the route of Free Lotto getting their email address. The majority are from on line surveys that claim to pay you to take surveys. (Another scam) Once Free Lotto gets your credit card number it is almost impossible to stop them from taking money from the account monthly. They keep the amount low but do it month after month even after people unsubscribe. It plays to human nature the "something for nothing" the "finally I'm rich" syndrome, greed overwhelms their senses, especially common sense.

Boy, isn't that the truth! I found out just last week. They took me for a ride for a couple of weeks. Thank goodness I didn't loose much money.
