In order to determine this scientists have put the imprint of a squirrels brain an a microchip.
They then implanted the chip into a man who was carefully selected by the EPA.
The result was the man seemed normal in all aspects except that he craved acorns and stored all kinds of food in his closets.

I would have to say the missing link between man and squirrel is all around us. They are called Creationists, or if they want to have an air of sophistication about them, they label themselves intelligent design theorists.

A religious nut? =)

I've always liked the Christian argument of "If man evolved from monkeys, why are their still monkeys?" It's so delightful in it's childhood simplicity and apparant utter lack of understanding of migration, climate/geographical shift, shift in resources, etc.

There is no direct link between man and squirrel, why do you ask?

We probably all evolved from the same 4 legged mammal though... millions and millions of years ago...
