It has been asked before and I know some of you are annoyed but could you PLEASE HELP?

I've know him for a year, just recently we've had some problems. He doesn't come to school that much anymore and I'm scared he will fail. Well
I saw him a few days ago and he actually wanted to talk to me. But I'm still not sure if he likes me or not or the same. When he saw me he smiled and greeted me, I looked at him and said nothing (i thought i did say something) but he looked hurt so I was scared. He waited some more outside, usually he would just go since his house is down the street. I didnt go up to him like I usually do and my friend did instead and he walked away pissed,mumblin,and sad. Should I say something before it's to late? Does he like me or not? What should I say to him if you think he does like me?

Well, he sounds a bit childish, but I used to handle rejection like that before I understood women. But since you seem to like him too, I think you might have some success if you just go to talk to him. Yes, I think he likes you. So don't hesitate any longer. There isn't anything in particular you should say if he does like you. Just talk to him about whatever, chit-chat, and smile periodically. Get his phone number and call him. Give him your phone number too. If all that goes well, ask him out. That's about it. Oh yeah, you might also try to ask him what's bothering him too. That might shed some light on things if he isn't too embarrassed to tell you what's on his mind. Good luck!

TELL HIM!!!!!!!! if he was that upset that u wouldnt talk to him he must like u somehow so ask him if he'll go out wit u and even if he says no ask him not to tell anybody and if u could still be friends. you dont have anything to lose and SOOOOOOOO much to gain!!!!!!! :D
