I want to put video clips into a powerpoint from movies, what program can I download for free to do this?

Basically, I want to copy and save DVD's to my computer and then put them into powerpoint.

go 2 insert, then movies and sounds, then movie from file. Find it and the video will be added

relying on the version, you visit insert, then videos and sounds... for both. you could embed them as well, contrasry to the 2d answer, yet you do this at the same time as saving the presentation...and it takes up more desirable area.
