well, why dont you use both, get the songs from limewire and add them to itunes!
if you need ipod format videos, there is a great free converter, i dont know the link but search yahoo for:

just use limewire pro. don't know why people don't know how to get it for free. just go to program search and type in limewire pro (duh!!) download and install (100% free) and it is a lot faster and gets rid of all the junk.
