god does get offended when we sin, but we just hurt ourselves because we get out of the will of god, and get into trouble, our lives get messed up, we don't receive the blessing's we would have had we just bothered to get to know the will of god for our lives, and do it. best to learn his will and not offend him. we can't offend him if we know his word, and live by it.

No.
YHVH is infinte, omniscient, and omnipotent.
He knows what anyone is going to say before they think of saying it.
He cannot be offended by words, and if He is briefly offended by a choice of yours, it is much more in sorrow for your fate than any anger against you.

I highly doubt an everlasting being that has lived for all of eternity would be offended by anything at all.

christians seem to think so. In fact, they call it the "unforgiveable sin".
You can murder a child and still get to heaven, but you can't intentionally offend god and still get to heaven.
Weird, huh?

Well God did say that love is not quick to take offense. I think you may be right about society being to quick to take offense. God says He is not quick to take offense.
