Education! Lots n lots of science education! (The challenge is these poor homeschoolers who are taught all kinds of flat earth craziness. And I do know what I'm talking about - both sisters home school.)

It's funny because Atheism claims that it does not believes in God(s). Most atheist challenge the idea of faith, believing is something that is not seen/provable. And yet these same atheists function under the same underlying principles of religion. Can I prove there is a God? Probably not, but my experiences have provoked the idea of a belief in a higher being. But on the other hand, can you Mr. Atheist prove to me there is no God? Have you looked in every corner of the universe to see him, additionally, have you looked everywhere in space and time at the same instant and seen there is no God? Of course not, it is impossible.
I happen to know that there are many atheist that are good people and live according to the law and seek to harm no one. On the other hand there are some that do not keep the law and do not live conscience of others. The exact same thing can be said of Christian and all religionists. So who do we have to persuade to be what? Maybe we should be a little more intelligent and discuss ideas in an open, non-demeaning way. That would probably solve more problems then seeking to "convert" the world into one whole.

Hey, if you want to think your life is worthless and pointless, then keep on believing in atheism. And thats all it is, not a reality, but a belief. Everything in this world is a belief. I believe ill be healthier i work out like crazy. Reality you might not be here tomorrow. Hey put some faith in your life. God and religion is what has made mankind come so far. Until you and the fellow atheists find a cure for death, then guess what God and faith is all that people got. And if you look hard enough you'll find that its not just a need but that beyond all the human suffering endured, there is proof of a higher being. Even if you dont want to believe in God, then simple everyday occurences like superstition, deja vu, and nostalgia should convince you otherwise.

Atheists, How do we get you to be such weak minded nihilists?

Religious fanatics, How do we get you to stop bruising society with your self-justifying dogma?

People, How do we get you to stop blaming people who think differently than you for the problems of our society?

Oh, Yeah....quit dumping your problems on other groups...Take responsibility for yourself, do what is helpful to the community and not just to you and your fragile system of non-belief...in anything...

People can worship anything from a toaster to Zoroaster if they are helpful and supportive to the world community...this blaming others is a sham of the weak and feeble.

Thanks for your time and I hope you can stop hugging your buddy and step into the world as it happens and not how your imagination and self-deceit think it should happen.

I can't think of anything more reprehensible than a group of arrogant believers who look forward to the end of the world and all human life on it because their myopic agenda tells them that they will go to heaven, that it's god's will, or whatever heinous justification they use to drag humanity into their bottomless pit of doomed ignorance. What can we do? We can start by not offering polite lip service to even moderate proselytizers, they are part of the problem.

Reading some of these answers here - they totally validate your concern. "We'll go to heaven if that happens." Jesus wept.

No, we sure can't. You see, the problem is religious people think that the world/planet/environment/nature were all given to us to 'do with as we please' by god. So it does not matter how bad we *** it up, religious people don't think it matters. Besides that they have the attitude that says..."I don't give a crap about the environment because when I die, I'm going to a better place, so none of it matters."

Its a sad, sick, twisted, disgusting attitude. And one that will ruin the planet for the future.

No. Organized religion is generally loved by our society, and though it has caused more harm than good in a lot of situations, it will probably always remain.

It's funny how atheist's are always on the religious forums.......
But I am looking forward to the time when God puts it into the hearts of men to destroy all religions clearing the way for God's Kingdom to take over

First of all, George W., look at the pot calling the kettle black. But seriously, why do you blame us for everything? Why do you hate us so much? The Lord Himself will come again soon and defend us and destroy all those who don't believe in Him.

Thats not your job as a human being. That is just as bad as a Catholic trying to convert the whole world to Catholicism. Get a grip and a life.
