You can't have an "unauthorised autobiography"...
An "AUTO"biography is written by the person it is about - so it can't be UN-authorised if it is an AUTObiography!
But then cats ARE a law unto themselves!!!
So was it a CLAW-tobiography? ;o]
I was so intrigued that I've done loads of searches but found nothing... if there really IS a book out there with that title I SO want to read it... does it compare with "Tailchasers Song"?

Do you mean "Archy and Mehitobel" by Don Marquis? I think Mehitobel was the cat, but I'm not 100% certain. Sorry not to be of more help, if I find out more I'll add.
