Do you really have to hear your boyfriend/or girlfriend say "I LOVE YOU" to know if they love you or not? Sounds like you need attention or something girlfriend. You should know that he loves you by the things that he do! I'm sure you've heard the saying "Actions speak loader than words? " do you really want him to tell you "I love you" ALL the time? or wouldnt you rather he showed you?

Personally What comes out a persons mouth are just words I KNOW my Boyfriend Loves and cares for me by the little things he do for me like, Calling me every morning to say "good morning" and at night to say "goodnight" or in the middle of the day to say "hows your day going baby?" by this I know hes thought of me. I also know he loves me when I tell him my back hurts and he rubs the knots out, or when Im hungry saturday morning & he brings me breakfast in bed, or the kisses he gives me out of the blue ect... you get the point.

Him saying he loves me after I say it to him doesnt really conveince me that he loves me but that day when it surprising started to rain and I had to take the bus cause my car was broke down and I had no unbrella and he was waiting outside my place of employment when I walked outside with the newpaper over my head and he drove me home way across town and out of his way really said "I love you and MORE!

So if your not sure if you boyfriend really loves you and your not happy then I'd say ...Yes Break up with him, but I wouldnt say Breakup because he says "DIDO" like Patrick Swayze on the movie "Ghost". But the choice is yours to make my dear.

Hang up!

How about wait until you get a car at least before getting too serious. Come on...I bet you get cauliflower ear talking on the phone that long. When you two can actually visit w/each other face to face and not on the freakin phone...you will have a better idea of whether or not you should break up w/him. Until then...stop w/the Ghost cutesie talk "ditto" and I-M...and make things for each other...CD compilation, scrap book, etc. It will be more challenging and stimulating. Start learning how to manipulate your parents to arrange an ice cream date. I bet you still need to be told to floss every night!

Wtp break up with him because he types ilu rather then i love you? Also he might be saying ditto on the phone cause people are around. trust me if your boy's hear you drop an i love you on the phone, you catch crap for it.thats a trife reason to break up with someone you say you love.

OMG NO. At least he makes an effort and says it or types it some how. Why not tell him you like hearing the words from him instead of ditto. I think you are making too much out of this.

Maybe he's just uncomfortable using the words right now. He might have grown up in a home where affection wasn't vocalized and it's hard for him to make the adjustment. I would be patient with him; as long as he treats you lovingly and with respect, you can probably assume he does love you. Actions sometimes do speak louder than words.

Well, you should probably ask him what he wants. But, if he puts "ilu" in an IM, OMG how do you take the abuse???
That's so horribe, to save keystrokes on YOU. What was he thinking???? My answer: Get a life and ask him, quit asking the internet.

You shouldn't dump over somethin that simple. You really got examine your relationship because if he simply is saying I LOVE YOU to you but when you do it to him he responds negatively then he really doesn't mean it when he first says it. But first before you go dumping him, talk to him and ask him why he does that when you say that, tell him that it bothers you and work something out. But I just hope that you guys haven't had sex just yet in the short period you've been dating because if you have, that is his way of just saying that all he wants is sex it his way of also reassuring and lying to you that he supposedly wants to be with you. its basically his way of saying, " i got this girl with just saying I LOVE YOU". i'm not saying that he doesn't love you but just be careful.

GOOD LUCK!!

Ask him if he loves you back or not, because if he doesn't he should of never told you.and if he say's no, then leave him because he should'nt of lied to you.
