I went to a separate sixth form college from my school, it was just called The Colchester Sixth Form College, and its definitely one of the best things I've ever done.

I think you get the chance to meet a much wider variety of people and experience and discover different opinions and I personally learnt things that I just found fascinating.

As well as the academic side the social side is also great, you get to meet up with so many people and make so many friends and discover new places to go out that you haven't been before.

I suppose its a scaled down version to university.

I really enjoyed my two year experience there for my A-Levels and I'm glad I went and wouldn't change it for the world.

I hope you have as much fun when you go!

It depends whether it's a sixth form college or a sixth form as part of an upper school. I went to the latter, and loved it, I wouldn't have wanted to go to a college. It's great when you compare it to the lower years of the upper school, lol! Depending on how many subjects you take you won't have masses of free time, but it's allllll good. Unless you're more specific, that's all I can say! Have fun :-)

As long as you don't go to "Bolton Catholic Sixth Form Center" you will be okay. That sixth form is connected to my school and is very strictly ruled by my head teacher. It really sucks. Any other sixth is supposed to be good though.

.......depends whereabouts you go.

We had an American girl come over to our 6th form, she had loads of fun - we showed her all about the culture and the sites and everything. But for education - it's just school with harder work but less lessons.......it's an easy life.

If you love historic buildings and history it will be lots of fun. I love it there. I can't wait to go back though I won't be going next year.

it depends - i got to a 6th form - its alright - more freedom than main school - but more work :( - but my cousin - he hates his 6th form - i think it will be different depending on where you plan to go
