Being over the age of 32 myself, I can tell you what I have seen:

Many many many younger guys are turned on by an older woman. If the woman is (excuse my crudeness) in the MILF category, then it's a no brainer - hot is hot, even in their 30's and 40's. Most guys could care less, and even chalk it up to a fantasy acheived under their belt.

Most younger men are afraid to approach older women as most men their age are still very immature, and since this fact is known by most older women, this younger bracket of men is avoided like the plague - so the men figure "why bother?" Some older women desire a more stable figure to settle down with, as they're tired of the run around and want to start a family. They can't waste time on a fling with a young hottie if it's not going to get them to their ultimate goal.

For the older women who already have children, they need a good father figure for their children, and someone who can support them financially, as well as emotionally. They don't need their children becoming close with someone who'll be only Mommy's playboy. Most men in the younger category run from this senario.

Then there are the chosen few who don't look at age, but rather the person themselves, and find that a relationship can be just as strong as if both partners were in their 20's.

Some men find women in their 20's to be more desirable, as they 'give it up' without a thought, since they have plenty of time to consider future options of marriage, children, and the like. These women want to play the field just as much as the men these days, and experiment quite a bit while doing it.

To the contrary, some men avoid girls in their 20's because of this fact. The guys in turn are the one's looking for marriage material and not some one-night stand floozy. Also, some women in their 20's are more selective in their choosing, as it seems to them that the flood of men at their door is never ending. Seems like the older you get, it just turns into a trickle in a drought, since the men are now gone into other relationships by then, or have so many personal problems, or 'baggage' that it's just not worth the effort.

Not at all. You just have to find the right guy. There are a lot of guys out there looking for someone older than them, and 30's is definitely not too old to be sexy. I don't base the way I look at someone on age, personality matters more.

As for desirability: early thirties = much more experience than early 20's. In that sense you should have the advantage.

H*ll no, in fact I've heard many men say that they desire older women more, because they are more stable and comfortable with their sexuality. Yes women in their 20's may look better...but so what, so so men in their 20's. That doesn't make them more desirable...it is all about the aura a woman carries and how confident she is with herself...and women of all ages can be thought of as easy...in fact i have heard many men say it's easier to bed an older woman than a younger woman because they really dont care about what people say...either way it doesnt matter how desirable u are to men, but how desirable u are to yourself

Hell no Berrygurl! I'm 33 and always dated older men than myself. Now all the hot 21-27 year olds are asking me out. They know for a fact with age comes experience and you cannot tell a person's age by looking at them these days. Why not have a hot 32 year old that knows what she's workin with than a boring 20 something with no clue?

no way, I am 41, and I have had more men hit on me in the past couple years than I did when I was 18 and I haven't changed much except I had two kids in between. I am told that I look younger than 41 but men anywhere between 20 - 60 yrs old have hit on me, but I have a great man in my life now and I let them know it. A woman is just as desirable as she thinks she is. at any age.
A woman of 32 may be past being desirable to most guys in their early 20's, but there are plenty of hot women that are way past their 30's. It's all in their attitude toward themselves. Men don't judge women as "easy" based on their age.

A guy your age would probably see someone in his age group as a more suitable match for long-term dating. But some men do prefer youth. My mom is about 6yrs younger than my dad (They are in their 50's) And actually a lot of my friends parents have a younger mom, so maybe.

And you have to think of the image that's projected on t.v and advertising. The cult of youth has bad effects on more than just women's self-esteem. men fall for the younger-is-better trap too. But younger girls don't always have the emotional stability (not to mention the financial stability) that a woman in her thirties often has.

I'm not easy just because I'm in my 20's.

Being 30 always symbolized confidence and stability to me, the true woman emerging with the experience to know that it doen't pay to deny what she truly wants out of life, who dresses to suit herself and not the trends, and is no longer obsessed with fitting in with the crowd.
But I'm running into a lot of green-eyed monsters when it comes down to the age debate. I'm usually trying to figure out how to pay off my student loans or scraping together the rent. Would any sane woman in her thirty's really go back to the starving student days just for a fleeting cultural nod to their supposed desirability? Oprah wants to give you a hug, if thats how you really feel.

My final thought: If the guy you are after only wants a younger girl then he's not the guy for you. And if you walk around with a chip on your shoulder about younger girls you are setting your standards based off the wrong criteria. You being you will attract what you want.

32 is a great age for a woman because by then generally they have mellowed not unlike a fine wine. Girls in their twenties are less desirable depending on their behavior. If you are asking for a generalization then I guess I would say that a lot of times they are immature and self-absorbed, but not always.

Absolutely not. I can say by myself that 32 is a great number, close to my age (I'm 33). I don't find women in their 20's more interesting than a woman in their 30's.

Guys like early 20 somethings b/c they are niave and sometimes are up for things that are totally stupid!! (nothing against 20's)
At 32 we have a lot of forsight and hindsight, so we aren't as easy to convince, most of us are past the gullable stage.

Guys have to come correct when they deal with ladies in their thirties. We have experience with lifes' events...

Tell them to grow up and learnn how to deal with a real woman.
