It's oil and egg, yes you can, if it's not at the right temp or sitting on the back seat of the car on a 80 degree day without cooling it'll get really nasty

Sure you can, mix mayo with fresh herbs and bread crumbs and top fish, bake under a broiler until crips and the fish is cooked. There is also a great chocolate cake recipe with mayo as an ingredient.

you have to heat mayonnaise when you are making it so it stands to reason that you would add it last and heat it very little or it will break down in structure when cooking on the stove. In a 350 oven I know that if you use it in a casserole that it will not break down in structure.

Just on its own? Why would you want to do that? Of course, it's fine in recipes. I'm not sure why one would want warm mayo, though.
