Is going to a salon than better doing it youself and if so, what would be the best colour to use on black hair (and me being from Sri Lanka...brown skin).

I dye mine myself or have a friend do it. as for black hair and brown skin I have no idea what would be best as I have blond hair and am told by everyone that i am the palest person they've ever seen.( my hubby says I glow in the dark! lol)

I think its better going to a nice salon cuz the dyes are better quality.If you do it at home,use a dye with no amonia so it doesn't mess up your hair.

Make sure that you are sure on a color, because if you get it done perminitaly theres no turning back!
