not show compassion and mercy to Mary Magdalene? Never mind if he is just a prophet to you. Why not follow Him? Do Mohammed words carry more weight? To stone or not to stone sinners?

satouqi, this video shows everything. how are you going to justify it. Why not show video that Christians also practice stoning. I am not Christians but seeing this video is too much.

My link doesn't work or you just can't find way to reconcile the contradictory nature of Jesus and Mohammed? Amazing, no one dared to give comment on the video when they should - it directly affects their religion.

As former Muslims and new Christians I would think you would be a little more forgiving and compassionate to your brethren. You state you have already found out that the Muslim faith is not true and have taken the road to a higher place. Well and good, but that doesn't give you the right to condemn those who haven't had the same. The best way to show a true faith in God is to demonstrate His love and compassion by how you live, love and surrender to His will. And for the person who said your link didn't work, shame on you for being almost as bad in your choice of answer. And the link did work for me. Just goes to show we all need the wisdom of the Word in our hearts.

I don't get it. "Jesus is just a prophet to Muslims" we never say that. Jesus is one of the 4 major prophets, 2nd last messenger and one of the mightiest prophets of all time. There are hundreds of verses in Qur'an talking about Jesus where Allah describes him as a great prophet. A whole chapter is in Qur'an regarding Marium (Mary), mother of Jesus.
Just because we reject the idea of Trinity and divinity of Jesus doesn't mean Jesus has no weight. One thing for sure, you will find many Christians who consistently attack our prophet by calling him warlord, pedophile, murderer, false prophet, possessed by Satan etc etc. But on the other hand no Muslims denigrate Jesus that way. I know a few hot head Muslims attack Christianity, but not Jesus.
We follow Muhammad because he came after Jesus, with modified and more upgraded religion with total completeness. He also emerged as the prophet of all people around the world. Unlike Christianity, Islam was never been tampered with people's words. The Qur'an has been and being safeguarded by God. And it's completeness is in it's total guidelines regarding living your life. Many many laws, rules and informations are properly described in Islam not found in Christianity. But also, many similarities are found in both of them.
How do you view the following verse from Qur'an:
"[2:87] And most certainly We gave Musa the Book and We sent messengers after him one after another; and We gave Isa (Jesus), the son of Marium, clear arguments and strengthened him with the holy spirit, What! whenever then a messenger came to you with that which your souls did not desire, you were insolent so you called some liars and some you slew."
So we can't reject a true messenger. Also, read the following verse regarding Jesus:
"[2:136] Say: We believe in Allah and (in) that which had been revealed to us, and (in) that which was revealed to Ibrahim (Abraham) and Ismail and Ishaq (Isaac) and Yaqoub (Jacob) and the tribes, and (in) that which was given to Musa (Moses) and Isa (Jesus), and (in) that which was given to the prophets from their Lord, we do not make any distinction between any of them, and to Him do we submit."
Peace.
p.s. Your link doesn't work so I couldn't comment on that.

Muhammad does whatever God tells him to do without argument. stone is a command by God and the old testimony is full of it.
do you want to know something that is worse than everything you just mentioned? the Hell , Tsunami, Katrina..etc it's not about what sound nice to you, it's about where is the truth, and whoever this God is i am worshiping him.
David and Solomon had many women, declare wars and were kings and that never stop them from being a prophet.
Muhammad has no choice to stone or no, but he has no choice except to obey God. there is a story of that woman who came to Muhammad admiting her adultry and Muhammad was trying to push her away so she dosen't get stoned, but she insist of repenting and take the punishment of adultery.

You don't make sense! We are about peace, if you knew anything about Muslims and Islam you would know that Prohet Muhammed and Prophet Isa ( Jesus) are both seen as prophets to us. We see them as men , not divine, we folllow their ways, but we do not worship them. We only worship Allah ( God). How can you worship a man? All the prophets rank the same in our hearts.

Well, maybe you forgot the old testament where it says that you should stone your own children or marry the man that raped you. I mean, if we are talking about barbarism, you shouldn't descriminate. Jesus himself implied more than once that stoning your children was a must if they blaspheme or offend you, and he never condemned slavery. In fact, all he asked was slaves to be nice to their owners and owners respect more their christian slaves.
