...Unless you are an Orthodox Jew, you are incorrect - this does not apply to Christians.
...In Mark 7:19 we read:
...19 because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?" (Thus He declared all foods clean.)
...And in Acts 10 we read:
...9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray.
...10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance.
...11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners.
...12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air.
...13 Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
...14 "Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean."
...15 The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."
...You need to do more homework.

Actually, this passage in "Leviticus" only applies to Jews. Christians can eat a variety of meats. Ref: Acts 10:9-15. God gives Peter a vision of a blanket with several animals of the world and commands him to kill, saying that everything made of God is clean, and thus animals are edible.

Check out Acts 10; Yes Christians can eat pig products. The Leviticus command was done away when Christ died on the cross nearly 2000 years ago!!!!!

That was the old testament sweetie. Read on to the new testament. Just like Christians used to have to make an animal sacrifice, but because Jesus died for our sins (in the New Testament) now we don't have to do that anymore.

Are you aware that you are not supposed to ask stupid questions?

Anyway, back then, it was a custom to eat only clean animals, because the people were unclean from sin. Since God sent Jesus to pay the penalty for our sins, we no longer have to sacrifice animals. All we have to do is ask for forgiveness.

Now we can eat whatever. Except humans. That's still wrong.

Romans 14:14
14As one who is in the Lord Jesus, I am fully convinced that no food[a] is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean.

Matthew15

"Listen and understand. 11What goes into a man's mouth does not make him 'unclean,' but what comes out of his mouth, that is what makes him 'unclean.' "

12Then the disciples came to him and asked, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?"

13He replied, "Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14Leave them; they are blind guides.[e] If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit."

15Peter said, "Explain the parable to us."

16"Are you still so dull?" Jesus asked them. 17"Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' 19For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20These are what make a man 'unclean'; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him 'unclean.' "

You mean Jews, not christians-thats Old Testament.
Read Acts 10:9-16. Pig is now clean food.
But, just because you can't have pork chops, don't try to tell me I can't .....you are the one in bondage to your religion-not me.

That is 'very' true, in fact the way that meat is treated now a days its better total vegaterian, IF you will look at the life span before the flood it was in the area of 800-900 years, after it dropped to below 200, Jesus ate meat but the health conditions of meat was not what it is today, and in heaven the original diet will be followed because there will be no death or killing there, free bible lessons learn more www.itiswritten.com God bless,

Did u kno that Lev. also says that woman on thier period should leave the camp for 7 days until it is over, and that no one should touch them becuyase they are unclean. Yes when Jesus came, a woman who had her period for over 10 years touched Him robe, and was healed, and Jesus was not made unclean.
