Eggnog - Kentucky Style recipe
Scale ingredients to servings
1 qt whipped heavy cream
6 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 cups bourbon whiskey
Separate eggs. Beat yolks, add sugar. Add bourbon slowly while beating. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold whites into egg yolk mixture, then fold whipped cream into mixture. Refrigerate for more than 4 days. Stir frequently to avoid separation. Color will change to a pale Serve w/nutmeg or cinnamon.

Put 1-2 shots of Rum into a glass of eggnog (depends on the size of your glass). Never thought of Amaretto, mentioned above, I might try that sometime.

We just serve Mountain Dew. Lol, I've never tried eggnog. But then again, we've always put a little bit of extra clear "liquid" in those Mountain Dews!

I like store bought egg nog with Captain Morgan spiced rum.
Two shots a glass.

Pour egg nog in to a glass,
You can add a shot or two of
ammeretto
Rum
brandy
experiment see what tastes you like, I am thinking ammeretto might be quite tasty.
