The immediate response would be to rush and help save the lives of those affected, both within the airplane and possibly outside.

The rest of the issues will depend on the damage, insurance, police, fire department etc.

Life saving, first

This did happen in Cerritos to a good friend of mine on moving day, we to be there to help. we had hang-overs and didn't go, everyone in the house left packing, the women died. and they guys in transit lived, one gal had her truck loaded up in the driveway and was accross the street and watched her friends die, and truck burn. It's tragic. there is nothing to say. people die.
if it crashes in your front yard, pray you are not home.

steal as much of the fuel as I could before anyone noticed! If its a jet, sell it to people who drive diesel. If reciprocating engine powered, put the gas in my car! Then check to see if everyones okay (probably not), then hold the data recorders for ransom, unless G/A... Oh, get in the avionics bay and start taking the computer boxes, thems is worth money i hears!

I would start by calling for medical assistance, then I would try to help the survivors as best I could, being careful to avoid getting covered in fuel and possibly ignited myself! Just pray that it never happens...

Chances are better that I'd win the lottery, and I don't even buy tickets!!
Not something I think about, as I fly for a living. Don't want to think about the possiblity of crashing.

First, I would probably go and see if anyone was injured. Next, I would go into my house and call 911. After calling, I would go back outside and comfort the people (if their were people in it) and keep them conscious. After the police and ambulance arrived, I would pray to God that they would be okay and that it did not land on my house and kill or injure my family and me.

Iwould hope I would not be home iof this happened. If I were home, I would run like h*** since the resulting fire would destroy the home and those in 2-3 houses either side of mine....

-Call 911 (Police, Fire Dept., EMS, etc.)
-See if everyone's okay/anyone's hurt (if possible)
-Help people off the plane
-If the plane is in okay condition and noone's hurt, I'd ask to see the cockpit!

Now, if only I had a front yard...
