Hmmmm I was wondering if a lack of common sense causes one to be religious or if religion causes a lack of common sense? Views?

I think religion causes a lack of common sense. Most people are religous because they were raised that way. They grow up fearing to question the validity of the religion. Common sense leads us to question almost everything that we can't prove.

Neither. A test is currently presented to Christians in this country. Unfortuneately, many Christians have apparently not passed the test. The test; T or F; the old testament is Genesis-Malachi. (Violates 2 Tim.3:16-17 amongst others). (Scriptural answer False). Many 'common sense' principles are in Genesis 1-12.

Well, you can correlate the two items, but it'd be hard (read: unethical) to design an experiment to show that one *causes* the other.
