Several hospitals have closed and are yet closing due to so many people coming here and going straight to the hospital. Oh but it gets better Medicaid has paid over $28 million to cover these costs. I can remember a time when I didn't have health care and could not even get Medicaid, but these people who aren't even citizens can get what us born US citizens can't have. This is backwards. And the sad part is they demand the government give them these benefits and they are law breakers. They broke the law to come here (most) and each day they are here they break the law by not paying taxes and stealing others identity in order to work. The government,corporate America and the wealthy should be ashamed at what they are allowing to happen to this country. Soon there won't be a need for people to come to America because we will be just like other countries. A THIRD WORLD DISASTER! Tell me what you think.

I agree completely... I work in healthcare and it makes me sick to see the costs we have to eat because they dont have to have benefits like the rest of us!! Not to mention when they come in speaking spanish and get upset at us because we speak ENGLISH!! If we keep enabling these people they will keep taking advantage and we WILL end up a third world disaster!!

They pay more taxes than most of you because they have two or three jobs. Most legal citizens should get health care or just go to the hospital when there sick.
By the way lex read up on your information. Illegals dont get social security benefits or food stamps or anything like that. Because they either have to be a legal resident or a citizen

the argument is kind of sideways. emergency rooms can't turn away people that could die. friends of mine that work in hospitals always make jokes about it by pretending they are having heart attacks. while hospitals used to do the moral thing and see everyone they are now corporate and turn away people that don't have insurance as long as they aren't in critical condition. Blaming illegals for getting into hospitals isn't where your problem seems to be -- its in the corporate american hospital that turns you away because you don't have adequate insurance. know your enemy and don't pretend your enemy is the little brown guy. corporate america uses the little brown guy for cheap labor they don't have to pay taxes on. pro-corporate government is called fascism. remember mussolini's italy? that is what it was all about.

I think you are right. I saw an 85 year old lady bagging groceries because her social security wasn't enough and she couldn't get welfare. But the illegals can get welfare. They can get social security too. It's disgusting that the most powerful country in the world, is losing to a bunch of lazy immigrants.

I know what you mean. I'm in need of an operation to have my gallbladder removed but cannot afford the $10,000. it costs to have it done, nor can I afford health insurance. I've been living with this condition for about 12 years now, and if I don't get help soon, they told me it would turn cancerous. Yet, here's all these illegal Mexicans getting benefits left and right all because they feel the need to have 10 kids per family, which is all a part of their mission to reclaim parts of our country that was supposedly "stolen from them." Yeah, something is very wrong here.

There's a hospital in a heavily Mexican illegal immigrant city near where I live that has been there forever. They're in grave danger of declaring bankruptcy because the illegals come in to the ER and never pay.
I agree it's totally unfair. The people that support illegal immigrants should be paying their bills.

Who told you these people don't pay taxes? They pay taxes just like all of us citizens. Unless they work under the table, which most of them don't. The system allows them to receive a paycheck either by using fake numbers or by using numbres provided 'legally' by the IRS for TAX PURPOSES. The government knows...and very well...that unducomented immigrants are paying into State tax, Federal tax, Social Security and Medicare. They are able to have a credi, buy homes and cars and report their yearly income at year end. Why do you blieve this is allowed? Because money is going to Uncle Sam's pocket!!! So you should be mad at our goverment for being so corrupt!!!

I agree. Why should I.I.s just walk into a hospital and expect free care, of course we can't just walk away. THEY'RE NOT EVEN PAYING OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET. IT'S UNFAIR.
