Both fighters are great and I love watching either of them fight. Tito has a solid ground game and punches very hard, he is a strong dude. He also has a solid jaw, and can take a punch. Above all, he has great conditioning, and long endurance.
Chuck on the other hand, has a brick for a fist, and is well known for knocking his opponents out. He also has some of the best take-down defense of anyone in the sport , which has made him sort of an odditty as a striker who is able to excel in a sport normally dominated by grapplers and BJJ experts.
Very good match up, and the fight could go either way.......but if I have to pick a side, I would put my money on the Iceman.
If the fight is a standing throwdown Chuck will knock Tito out, but IF Tito can manage to get Chuck to the mat, he has a sound chance at a ground-and-pound win.

The only chance Tito has is that he has to let go of his pride and fight his fight. There is no way he can stand there and and throw down with "The Iceman", if he does that he will most certainly get knocked out. Tito has to get inside, wrap Liddell up and take him down and try to pound him into a referee stoppage or outpoint him, one thing is for certain is that Liddell will not verbally tap out or be submitted. Tito will have to get him down each round and keep him there and its a 5 round fight. I don't think he will be able to do this, Liddell by KO in the 2nd.

I say Liddell over Ortiz by KO.
What's interesting is that in the ads they keep emphasizing that Ortiz has won his last 5 fights in a row. But think about it. 3 of those were against Ken Shamrock! And Forest Griffin had a great fight against Tito (I'd like to see Forest get another shot at Ortiz).
Yeah, Ortiz COULD pull this one out...but if Liddell starts hitting him with bombs I think we'll see the same Ortiz we saw in their first fight. One that backs away and covers up, waiting for Big John to step in and stop the action!

Who ever makes the first mistake will lose the match as the other fighter will just capitalize on it and win the bout.
