I am not a christian - so I can't really give you a good answer to that.
I can say that the people that think that are usually very right wing. Not all people hold a view of birth control as being sinful.
What really boils my potato is the pharmacists that refuse to dispense BC or the morning after pill. THERE'S NO BABY YET MORONS!!

No, because that would cause the average Christian to view adoption as sinful. Do not assume that a church forbids a technique because of its alliteration. When the Roman Catholic Church instates that "a child is to be raised in a loving home," it meant the parents are to be decent and mature, even if abortion is an option. As a matter of fact, if a woman who is in desperate need for an abortion declines for religious reasons, she has betrayed not only her family but also her religion, her friends, even the Lord, for he will create another child to replace the one that is lost. Birth control and contraceptions are not sinful since they are optional, especially in regard to menopause. To say contraception is sinful is completely anti-Christian and therefore deservant of punishment, for sexuality is a sensitive issue.

No. Most religions are okay with the usage of birth control pills. I've heard in the past that the Catholic church does not agree with the use of any birth control method.
Now whether that's still practiced or strictly enforced - I'm not at liberty to say. I've known a few Catholics that do utilize birth control whether it's condoms, the pill and/or another method - and I've also known Catholics who were staunchly against any method.

I think the majority of Christians do not believe birth control pills are sinful. That would be including Protestants.

fairly, this is really the Catholics who have self belief birth control of an unnatural type is a sin. that incorporates condoms, the pill , IUD's, and so on and so on. the actually customary birth control approach is the rhythm approach, which does no longer paintings - except to provide numerous children.

I don't think so. I think most Christians would see being responsible and having the ability to care and provide for a family as a prerequisite to children, and thus the pill may be a good way to hold of. It should be a personal choice.

No I don't. It's just something the Rom.Cath. Church tells you. I think as a Christian we have to take responsibility for our life and our children. That means not having one child after the other that we can't take care of, or let others do it for us.
I come from a family of 10 and my parents struggled so I had to go to live with a relative. Is that better?

Catholics think any kind of BC is a sin. Supposedly you only have sex to create children. I went to school with a family that had 10 KIDS. Thats a little much - don't you think?!
I went to Catholic grade schools - aren't they also considered christians? I now have my tubes tied after 4 kids (each 4 yrs apart). I think I'm destined for he**!! Oh Well - Like with 4 kids I'm not there already?!

I personally do not find it sinful. If you are not financially or physically able to have a child then I think that B.C. is a great thing. Making Love is wonderful if you are married and share that special bond with someone but sometimes that doesnt necessarily mean you are ready for a child. I think it varies from person to person. But never feel guilt for it.

That can’t possible be the case considering how many Americans are on them (most Americans being Christian).
Dude, I never got a migrane from birth control and I'm prone to them.
