A guy came into my work last night and asked for my number. I declined to offer it. Then he tried to give me his. I declined this offer as well. The problem is I work by myself a lot and really pissed this guy off, even though I was as nice as I could be. How should I handle the situation if he comes back and says something? He said some rather rude things as he was walking out. I can't deny him service or say anything rude.

okay, we have almost the same situation. YOU DID THE RIGHT THING This guys comes into my work, and for the fist few months nothing. he was just a regular customer. but for the past month or so, he would sit at my desk longer and longer, tell me how beautiful I am, ask when he could take me out, etc. I wasnt really interested but i thought what the heck, it's just a date. So i gave him my phone number. I called him, he called me. Only 5-6 days have gone by, and the 2nd day of talking he told me he loved me. Then yesterday I had my phone on silent all day, and he called me 16 times!!!!!! I called him and told him it's not a good idea we talk anymore, and he acted really REALLy weird. He comes in here about 2 times a week, and now i have NO idea what is going to happen. If He's gonna freak out on me, wait out by my car. He is a total nut case. I have some pepper spray, you should get some of that. Make sure you always walk with somebody out to your car. Be SOOO careful honey, you have no idea what kind of freaks are out there. I found out the hard way and now he actually has my phone number :( You did the right thing. Never get involved with anybody at work, either co-workers or customers, because theres no way to get out of it

Either tell him that you are in a relationship, you are gay or that you used to be a man, he should get the picture. One more I used was that I was in the early steps of becoming a nun and my life was committed to God.
