My parents pay for my education at college, yeah im grateful but they hold everything over me and threaten that if i don't do what they say, then they are not gonna pay for my education. I think i should move out but what steps shuld i take in order to be taken seriously and not lose the respect of my parents?

R u in the position to move out? Do u have a job? Do u realise the amount of money u will need to move? Can u pay for your own education? Maybe u r better off where u r. Just stay out at girl friends places so u can have a night life.

Have a serious conversation with them. Explain you will keep their advise in mind but you need to make your own decisions if they ever want you to grow-up. Unfortunately it took a huge blow-out and me moving out before my parents decided to listen, hopefully it will be easier for you.
