Sure. You need outside activities other than classes, studying, job search, moot court/mock trial, and law review or you'll be miserable.
I have a long-distance relationship that's working out great. During exam-time, I study and outline 10-12 hours a day and she knows this and is very understanding. We make up for it on holidays and breaks.
Several partners at large law firms have told me their strategy for making time for their wife and kids: they can't guarantee that they will have a lot of time every week to spend with their family. Instead, they plan over a longer period of time, such as by planning vacations around big cases.
The difference in law school would be that younger girls that you are just starting a relationship with may not be as mature or understanding. You just have to find the right girl.
But again, from your end, there's no reason not to date. Be warned that law school will turn you pale and fat, so best to pick up a girl 1st semester so she's already hooked when you turn flabby!

It's hard, but possible.
Maybe not a new relationship, because your girl may not be willing to put up with the weird hours.
But if you know a girl already and she is willing to meet you half way it is possible. You may have to meet for only a half hour to an hour during study breaks. Things like that, time mangagement like never before but I know more than a few people who did it.

If you are really worried about it, maybe just wait till you finish so you can concentrate on your schooling. You can always date afterwards.
