At an old job, I worked in the produce department. A lady came in one day asking for pomegranates, but we didn't have any at the time. She said that the Bible said that people should eat a seed from a pomegranate every day for good health. Does it really say that? I did a search at Biblegateway.com and couldn't find one. I found a lot of verses that mentioned pomegranates, but none that specifically said to eat them for good health.

Actually, I DO know science. I am just asking because I was wondering if there really was a verse that said something like that. Get a dictionary and look up the word "curiosity."

Well I have this program called E-Sword. I found no references to pomegranate in the N.T. . I found 8 verses, 10 mentions in the O.T. . Now this was in the KJV, since that is one of the most common ones quoted. (I have about 14 more I can search though). But nothing showed up at all concerning health issues. And a search in the Strong's Dictionary in the original Hebrew turned up nothing either. Seems to me the lady was one banana short of a full bunch.
Pomegranates are good for you, but nothing specific is mentioned in the Good Book.
This was a very interesting question by the way. It's good to be curious. That is how science learns new things. Otherwise we get stuck in the dark ages.

The pomegranate is mentioned 12 times in the Bible, but the seed of the pomegranate is not mentioned at all. Here is a list of the books of the Bible where the word "pomegranate" appears and how many times in each book:

Exodus 4
1 Samuel 1
Song of Solomon 5
Joel 1
Haggai 1

Err...no. Where the heck did that lady come from? I think she means Dionysis or somthing. Maybe the 'seed' from a pomegranate is a metaphor meaning that we should pray and touch our spirit with the Lord everyday for 'good health.'

I don't know about a verse in the bible, but the pomegranate has been called "The fruit of the Gods." I believe that ambrosia has been called this too. :)

You pray to God in uncomplicated terms. Praying to the departed or family is the comparable as what "mediums" do. You pray to the only you worship, and that's God. So the Lord positioned him to dying and grew to become the dominion over to David son of Jesse.

even if there is one, she was probably taking the bible to a more physical level. I think some of it is like that, but a lot of it, you need to be thinking on a spirit level.
