i actually sit a lot in front of the computer and i always have tired eyes, but i'm not going to get blind, right?

You will not go blind, but it is very bad for your eyes.
Sitting in front of the computer for 8 hours is quite a long time and your eyes will be in strain. It is best to stop playing every hour and take a small break for 15 minutes if you want to have a safer experience.

Computer is just a light and regular lights do not cause you to go blind. Being in front of the computer that much can cause eye strain resulting in being tired or headaches.

No, you won't get blind soon. You have to use a LCD monitor a Screen protector Anti-UV, Anti-Scratch, Anti-Dust which are cheap and you can find on any computer store, remember to change them every 6 months or if you have a regular one you have to put a screen protector a kind of special glass and you have to change it every year. Every day in front of the computer will not cause blindness but you'll have to wear glasses in 2 years and you'll have to change them from because of the prescription. i 'm at my second one from 0.25 to 0.75 in less then a year. So I bought a LCD and I have it for over a year and I didn't change my last pair yet.

you would have bad eyesight anyway, computer usage has nothing to do, genetics and eyeball shape are involved. computers do cause eyestrain and sometimes headaches. they dont "cause" any real eye/vision problems, not blindness even less.
