Did you ever choose a jerk who was 'hotter' even when a uglier nicer guy was around and you knew he like you?

For me a broken heart feels like the floor has been ripped out from under me.

When you say "girl" I assume you are talking about a teenager or woman in her early 20's. I've been both and regulary dated guys who broke my heart while dismissing men who really liked me. Immaturity and inexperience lead me to pursue excitement over reliability and character. I truly believed suffering was just part of what I had to go through to find love. Unfortunately, lots of young women and girls view love from that perspective. Happily, they grow out of it eventually.

no, PEOPLE choose mates based on their past history of their family relationships. for instance, often women choose men like their father, etc. The human psyche is complex. We go for what is comfortable (what we know not what is pleasant). It sucks to have a broken heart. but most people have experienced it at least once in their lives because we also get into relationships when we are immature and inexperienced.
It's not a gender specific phenomenon

If a women choose "jerks" on purpose it is to try and make themselves look better. It also depends on what one means by the word "jerk". If my e-mail gets to you then email me and I will help further, reason for this is I have four finals to take tomorrow and I will be checking my email a lot: medrivebigmachines@yahoo.com.

As if you've just had your heart ripped out of your chest. They don't choose them on purpose, they're just normally more attracted to the bad boys. Don't ask why because I don't even think us girls know why.

dude to be honest most of us don't do that on purpose but there are some who do just to make them selves feel better to know that a dude will just go out with them. but still to be honest if this is your first time you'll go through it again and maybe even again that's just life for you. but it does hurt, it takes the amount of time you went out to get over it. well just hang on

Like your burried in a hole and cannot get out, cannot breathe, nor speak or do anything or you will die from no air or from the dirt caving in on you. You heart feels like it is going to explode if it beats any faster or harder. You feel like you are out of your body and someone else has taken over to destroy it.
