I am not athiest, but am agnostic-to say that athiesm is not a religon is false-look up the word religon, and compare it to the word athiest-just as being agnostic is a form of religon-any belief
that centers around faith-even the lack of faith is a religon-
If I worship my couch and write poems to it, and give it devotion-
My religon is couch based!
By you speaking of atheism here today and im sure you have written aout it elsewhere also-than that is your religon

it is what it is if anything yahoo does have a science section okay now before you attack me i'm agnostic so i'm not being a wise a s s like certain religious not all people would be but at the same time agnostics and atheists have a right to be in this section the hell with who likes it or not

Atheism is a lack of belief in God. That's all it is.
Most people who are atheists don't even realize they're atheists, because they simply live their lives without religion. Therefore, atheism can't be a religion.

Atheism is a religion in the sense that it is faith-based. Just as nobody can scientifically prove the existence of God, likewise nobody can disprove it. It takes faith to believ that God does or does not exist.
