Why are there women who tend to like men who are not available, but cant stay in love to those who professes their undying love to them. Psychological aberration or just plain immaturity?????

Anyway here's the poem.....

The Impossible Good

To educate her hardened heart
An Impossible feat
Attraction uncontrolled to
Unrequited love

Afraid to get burned
Biggest fear to get hurt
Path of least resistance
To love someone who can't

Why can't she stay in love
To someone who does
Was there a shadow of doubt
Or a hint of pretense

Impossibilities
Her quest for answers
Unreachable, Unquenchable
Thirst for truth.

Hold her hand
Blindfolded and masked
Lead her to the winding road
Bring her back to her senses.

It is DEFINITELY not too emo. Poetry is a way of expressing your feelings without having to put a leash on the true emotion... and you have done an excellent job of it. If this girl won't stay with you, she probably isn't the right one and she does not deserve you... and I know a ton of girls who would love to know a guy as sweet and sensitive as you are. It's difficult to put your own emotions and thoughts into words, and poetry is the best way to do it. I think you have chosen the best outlet for your sadness and you obviously have great talent for it. I'm not just sugar coating things either, I honestly think you've used the perfect amount of emotion and a hint of symbolism in this poem, and it is VERY good... keep this up and you might become well known!

women who have men who are taken feel that those men are safe. they are the ones who don't want a man to really hurt them so they think they are in control of the situtation, but they aren't. they are the ones who are lonely on holidays, or they are the ones who take some kids father away from them. this poem describes the emptiness, hurt and the loneliness of this kind of woman, and to hope that one day someone will save them and bring them back to reality

Nice poem homie!! but as for the question about people wanting to be with someone that is unavaliable and not with someone they can actually have...well i guess thats human nature. i mean we aways want what we can't have because we like the thrill of the chase.
