It depends what kind of intimany you are talking about. Kissing is something personal, you dont just kiss anyone.. but certain people DO sleep with jus about anhyone just to fulfill their pleasure. Sex is a physical thing, you do it and you get where you wanna be and after that it's done. Kissining on the other hand is more of an emotional thing. You kiss someone and you feel something for that person.. the way the kiss is also says a lot about what kind of feelings they are. So to give you a starught answer.. Kissing is more intimate.

Both and neither.
It is completely dependent on who you're speaking of, and even then only those two people would know. Intimacy encapsulates a huge spectrum of gestures, anything from a simple glance over the room to your other half, to actual intercourse.
Don't use an answer to this question to judge how intimate a relationship is. You should always just feel it.
Emotion and intuition are always the only way you can truly determine these type of things.

I mean think about it kissing sets up for better sex!
Good sex doesnt make kissing good. you need kissing for good sex! and you can have good kisses without having sex! I know maybe guys wont agree with me but they are just thinking with their third leg or peg depending on the case. Now women I would guess they would agree but I still can't hammer down that gender 100%.

That's a really good question, if you take a step back and think about it.
I would say that sex requires more intimacy to have, but that kissing is a more inately intimate act.

I have had a better kiss off a person than i did sex off them. So i dont think it is just one or the other. I love to be kissed as good as the sex.
